adelphiauction.com  is the latest evolution of a business started in 1963, when my parents - Bill and Betty Benson - left the "big city" of Columbus and moved to the small Southern Ohio village of Adelphi (pronounced ah-dell-fee) and started an auction. Starting when I was 8 years old, my parents and I were going to auctions every night of the week. During my Jr.  and Senior High School years, I ran the concession stand at my parents auction on Saturday nights. I literally grew up at auctions!  So it comes as no surprise that the entrepreneurial blood has flowed through my veins since childhood. And now with the advent of online auctions, let the fun begin! Let's pass out those "grab bags" and let the bidding begin...
